Early Childhood Center Available Positions

Part-Time Staff
Preferred qualifications for this position are:
• Available for 15-29 hours per week.
• Experience working with 3-5 year old children is preferred

Aquatics Available Positions

Water Safety Instructor (WSI)
Provide instructional swimming lessons to children and adults in group and private settings. Assist in day/week camps in coordination with other youth programs at the center.
Minimum Qualifications:  Current American Red Cross WSI certification is preferred, but other certifications will be considered.

Lifeguard
Job Description:
Provide a safe and clean environment for all patrons in the pool area. Perform all necessary functions as related to the aquatics department.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Must be 16 years of age or older at the time of hire.
• Must have current American Red Cross Lifeguarding certifications.
Essential Functions:
• Perform all essential lifeguard duties.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all emergency situations.
• Assist in cleaning pool, pool deck and other assigned areas.
• Fill out appropriate accident/incident reports.
• Attend all regularly scheduled in-service trainings and staff meetings.

Afterschool Counselors

The Youth & Teen Department is looking for experienced college students and beyond to work as counselors in our Afterschool program. Candidates must be available to work from Monday to Thursday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm and Friday from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. Must be able to pass a background check. Due to the necessity of driving for our program you must also be 21 years old and have a clean driving record. You will receive an individual JCC membership to our beautiful center and fitness facility and work in a fun and friendly environment.
