Assistant Director of Early Childhood Center
The I. J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center Early Childhood program is an NAEYC accredited program. The JCC Early Childhood Center is known for its high quality preschool and kindergarten. We are looking for a qualified Early Childhood Assistant Director to assist our Early Childhood Director in all aspects of the program.
Job description: Oversight of all Early Childhood registrations and enrollment, curriculum planning, scheduling, classroom management, parent communication, day to day problem solving and staff supervision. This position transitions during the summer to become the Summer Camp Director. This is a 12 month, salaried position, 30-35 hours per week.
Requirements: BS in Early Childhood or equivalent 5 or more years in an early childhood classroom and experience and knowledge of NAEYC Accreditation and Utah State Licensing requirements. Excellent computer skills and knowledge of Word and Excel are required.
Preferred qualifications: Knowledge of Creative Curriculum and awareness of Jewish holidays and culture.

Kindergarten Teacher in an Early Childhood Center
I. J. & Jeanné Wagner Jewish Community Center Early Childhood program is an NAEYC Accredited Program. The JCC Early Childhood program is known for its high quality preschool and kindergarten. The JCC is looking for a qualified Early Childhood kindergarten teacher to teach 5-6 year olds in a full day kindergarten.
Responsibilities include: Covering and planning for all aspects of the kindergarten day including: scheduling, curriculum planning, classroom management, children's assessment, parent communication and day to day problem solving within the classroom.
Hours: This is a 35 hour/week salaried position from the end of August to the end of May.
Requirements include: BS in Early Childhood or equivalent, a Utah State Teaching License and 3 or more years of experience in a kindergarten classroom.
Preferred qualifications would include: Familiarity with the Utah State Core Curriculum and some awareness of Jewish Holidays and Culture.

Teachers are needed in the Hourly Child Care at the Jewish Community Center. Great place to work. Positions start the last week in May.

Summer Camp Counselors
Job Description: Seeking experienced college students to work as counselors at our summer camp for children in grades 1-10. You will be responsible for keeping track of your individual group and assist in a range of activities such as sports, swimming, hiking, laser tag, etc, and generally making sure the children are safe and have a great time at JCC summer camp.
