We feel confident saying our AfterSchool program is the best in Utah. Now, it's getting even better.

For the upcoming school year we have added a computer lab filled with new iMacs, iPads, digital cameras and HD video recorders. We now offer more flexible options like our new A La Carte service and Drop-In Care.

All Day Camp May 24

This is our last All Day Camp of the school year — and we'll be sure to make it a memorable one. After a more of fun and games at the JCC, we'll head to our new favorite location, Nickelcade. Online registration available.

Summer Camp: Pre & Post Camps

Our traditional Bernie Camp runs 10 weeks, but the fun doesn't have to end, or start, there. We offer a number of Pre and Post Camps, including some 2-day and 3-day options which correspond with many school district calendars.

Bernie Camp Parent Orientation

Orientation night is a great way for parents of JCC Bernie Campers to way to prepare for the summer.  Director of Programming Karla Pardini, Youth and Teen Director Jerrad Strand, and Bernie Camp Director Dave Flagler will be on hand to meet you, answer your questions, and provide a picture of what to expect this summer.

Last Day of Afterschool + Party

We are winding down another great year of AfterSchool. Our last day for this school year is Friday, May 31. We are planning to celebrate with an end-of-the-year pool party. We'll also be grilling burgers and hot dogs. All AfterSchool students and their families are invited.

Youth & Teen

Think back to your youth. There was probably a place or time that immediately evokes great memories and likely still puts a smile on your face. A place where you made friends and – probably without realizing it – learned some of life's most valuable lessons.

For the kids and young adults in the our youth programs, the JCC is that place. Take the example of Jerrad Strand, a kid who was practically raised at the JCC. The positive memories were so strong for Jerrad, he returned as an adult to run our AfterSchool and Summer Camp programs.

For more than 30 years, the JCC has been home to "Bernie Camp" – a 9-week summer camp in memory of Bernie Solomon, beloved former Executive Director of the JCC who died much too young. Our AfterSchool program is a favorite among parents and kids. We pick up kids from schools from several schools in the Salt Lake City area.
