Campaign Testimonials

What people are saying about the campaign...

Crystal Trentelman & Jessi Irwin

"I wore my son in an ergo-pack at the ECC Front Desk waiting for him to be able to attend the preschool, and over that time, I realized that this is my family's home." - Crystal Trentelman

Chase Hodges-Heilmann

"When I started here I didn't know anyone. Two years later, this is like my family. When I learned about the Capital Campaign, I had to be a part of it" - Chase Hodeges Heilmann

Jess and Jay Kinghorn

"I joined the campaign because I believe in the J's commitment to building a diverse and inclusive community. I feel like everybody can find something here, and feel like part of the community." - Jess Kinghorn

Laura and Dan Cushman

"Our kids have gone to the preschool, they've gone to camp there... It's priceless to be able to send them somewhere and not worry about them at all" - Dan Cushman

Jordyn Heyn

""The JCC is a great place for kids to come and feel comfortable - no matter who they are. That was great for me, and I think it's great for other kids to have that same opportunity." - Jordyn Heyn

Cookie Rosann, Volunteer Extraordinaire

"I joined the campaign because I believe in the J's commitment to building a diverse and inclusive community. I feel like everybody can find something here, and feel like part of the community."

Juan and Julie

Juan Lemus, Owner of Café J

When Juan from Café J learned about the capital campaign and the new building, he told us he wanted to do something to help. Juan's idea was Café J Day, where all proceeds from the café would go toward the campaign; at the end of the day, the Café J donated over $3000 to the campaign, exceeding all expectations! Juan hopes that someday in the future, people will remember when he and his family were a part of the JCC and understand how much this place meant to them.

Jessica Munguia

Jessica Munguia, ECC Teacher

"The J is so much more than just my job. This is my family's second-home. I support the campaign because I want the J to be ready to welcome hundreds more families like mine."
