Course Description
Upon successful completion, participants will receive American Red Cross certification in the following:
• Lifeguard Training
• First Aid
• CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer
Mandatory attendance to all classes and successful completion of all final skills and written exams are required to receive certification. Classes require a minimum of 5 participants to run.
MASKS AND SWIM SUIT REQUIRED FOR EACH CLASS.

Price:
$150 (Includes training equipment & certification fee)
The course is free for JCC employees who sign a contract to work at the JCC through the summer ending 9/30/2023 (depending on school schedule, please discuss with Hannah Vasquez)

Prerequisites
Must complete the following during the pre-screen test* to participate in the course:
• 300 yard continuous swim
• Swim 20 yards, retrieve 10lb brick off bottom of pool, and swim back to starting position with brick and head out of water (TIMED)
• Two minutes treading water

Must be 15 years old by the last day of the course
