Pools & Swim Lessons

*Reusable Swim Diapers are required for ALL children ages 4 and under. No disposable diapers will be allowed. Please note that Reusable Swim Diapers are available for purchase at the Fitness Desk and Front Desk.*

The JCC has both an outdoor pool and year-round indoor pool.

Indoor Pool: 25 yards long and kept at 82-84 degrees. Open 7 days per week for lap swimming. Note: Children must be 8 or older to swim in the Indoor Pool without an adult.

Outdoor Pool: 25 meters long and kept at a slightly warmer temperature of 84-86 degrees. The Outdoor Pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.

Group lessons are offered during the school year as part of our SDS program.

Private & Semi-Private Swim Lessons are taught by our American Red Cross Certified Instructors.

Private Swim Lessons

Child (Age 2-17)

  • 1 Lesson, Private (20 minutes) $30
  • 6 Lessons, Private (20 minutes) $100
  • 1 Lesson, Semi-Private (30 minutes) $25/child
  • 6 Lessons, Semi-Private (30 minutes) $85/child

Adult (Age 18+)

  • 1 Lesson, Private (30 minutes) $35
  • 6 Lessons, Private (30 minutes) $150
  • 1 Lesson, Semi-Private (30 minutes) $30/person
  • 6 Lessons, Semi-Private (30 minutes) $125/child

Lessons can be scheduled anytime as long as an instructor is available.

**Please note that swim lessons are only available to JCC Members. Payment is not due until lesson request is accepted by an instructor. Private swim lessons expire after 3 months.**

Parent and Tot

Developed for children six months to three years, this class helps young children get ready to swim by emphasizing fun in the water. Parents and children participate in several guided practice sessions that help kids learn elementary swimming skills, including water entry, bubble blowing, front kicking, back floating, underwater exploration and more.

Parent and Tot Swim Lessons are Sundays from 10:30 - 11 AM.

Masters Swim Workouts

If you're looking for improved stroke technique, endurance training, and overall fitness, a structured group workout is vital. The adult Masters Workout includes in-depth stroke analysis and personal coaching. These workouts will challenge your mind and body. All levels of swimmers welcome; must be 18 years of age – or 14 with an adult. Masters Swim Workouts are included in JCC Membership.
