Early Childhood Center

The ECC has year round programs for children 2 years of age through kindergarten. Our philosophy is that children learn by doing: their academic and emotional development is enhanced when they make their own discoveries and can apply what they learn to their own lives. We maintain a low child to teacher ratio with talented, credentialed teachers and expose children to a wide variety of learning opportunities. Jewish holidays and traditions are also an important part of our program.

Jewish Culture

Jewish culture and traditions are an important aspect of all our programs. Our integrated celebrations and observances include stories, music, art and cooking projects. On Fridays each classroom celebrates Shabbat.

An Ethical Start

Our curriculum features, An Ethical Start™, a program looking at common human values through a Jewish lens. A character friend, Peer K Explorer™, explores with the children through music, books and activities to help them learn how to treat others appropriately.

Department Programs

2 Year Old Toddler Program

Welcome to terrific twos! At the age of two there is so much to learn and so much fun to be had.

We offer T/TH, MWF or M-F half days (8:30-12:00)

M-F full days (8:30-3:30)

and M-F extended day (7:30-5:30)

for our toddlers.

3 - 5 Year Old Preschool Program

Preschool is fun! It is a place where children can expand their world, learn, grow and most importantly have fun.

We offer MWF or M-F half days (8:30-12:00)

M-F full days (8:30-3:30)

M-F extended day (7:30-5:30

for our preschool children

Kindergarten Program

ABC, 1,2,3’s time for school! The JCC kindergarten emphasizes nationally recognized early childhood best practices, such as skill building, academics, hands on activity based experiences.

We offer M-F full days (8:45-2:45)

enrichment (2:45-4:00) or extended day (7:30-5:30)

for our kindergarten children.

Special Needs

The JCC is proud to support an inclusive environment. Children with special needs will benefit from being regularly integrated into a preschool or kindergarten environment with typically developing children. A combination of one on one specialized coaching and experiences in natural environments will result in rich experiences for all the children involved. Special Needs tuition is in addition to the regular tuition.
